Add the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and jalapeño extract to a shaker filled with ice and shake for 10 seconds.
Prepare the glass by rubbing the lime juice around the rim of the glass. Dip the rim into the tajín. Fill the glass with ice.
Strain the drink into the prepared glass.
Add optional jalapeño slice garnish if desired.
