Whiskey Sour

Equipment

  • rocks glass
  • shaker

Ingredients

  • 2 oz bourbon
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Angostura bitters
  • ice
  • optional: orange wheel garnish
  • optional: cherry garnish

Instructions

  • Add bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white to a shaker and shake for 15 seconds.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake for an additional 15 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  • Add 3-5 dashes of bitters.
  • Add orange wheel and cherry garnish if desired.
