Jarritos Margarita

This twist on a margarita uses a Jarritos soda for added flavor. Any flavor of Jarritos will do. We like to use the mandarin or tamarind flavors, which pair well with the tequila and triple sec.
Jarritos Margarita
Servings: 1 drink
Equipment
- shaker
- rocks glass
Ingredients
- 2 oz tequila blanco
- ½ oz triple sec
- 1 ½ oz Jarritos soda (any flavor)
- ice
- salt (for rim)
- lime wedge (for rim)
- optional: lime wedge garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the glass by dragging a lime wedge around the outside of the rim and dipping the rim in salt to coat. Use a salt rimmer or salt spread on a plate.
- Add the tequila and triple sec to a shaker filled with ice and shake for 10 seconds.
- Strain the tequila and triple sec mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
- Balance with Jarritos.
- Add an optional lime wedge for garnish.
