Amaretto Sour

The Amaretto Sour follows the classic sour formula and combines the bitter almond flavor of the Amaretto with the sweetness of the lemon juice and simple syrup.

Servings: 1 drink
Equipment
- shaker
- fine mesh strainer
- rocks glass
Ingredients
- 2 oz Amaretto
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ¾ oz simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- ice
- optional: orange twist garnish
- optional: cherry garnish
Instructions
- Add the Amaretto, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white to a shaker and shake for 25-30 seconds.
- Add a few cubes of ice to the shaker and shake for an additional 10-15 seconds.
- Strain the drink through a fine mesh strainer into the glass.
- Top with an optional orange twist and cherry garnish.
